The weather is usually lovely at that time of year during the day and evenings are okay too, you may need a cardie some evenings but its definitely not cold. You may get an occassional thunderstorm, which soon clear and are very spectacular to watch.
I have never used aircon late Sept or early October.
I wont compare it to a Spanish seaside holiday as the people are no comparison, the Turkish people are the nicest race I have ever met in my life and they cant do enough for you, they will go out of their way to make your holiday the happiest ever. I generally tip at restaurants after a meal around 10% but its purely up to you how much. I dont usually tip when I just go to a bar for one drink, but if i have an evening there I would leave a couple of lira as a tip.
As for haggling, have a price set in your mind that you are willing to pay and dont go over from that. As a rule, I generally offer half the asking price then am prepared to go up to about 70%. If you are not prepared to pay what they are asking and you just walk away with a polite no thanks, they will call you back if they are willing to let it go for the price you offered.
Browsing in shops depends on where you go,
Marmaris Bazaar is the place you definitely wont get any peace to browse, but in Icmeler, it is getting better and you can have a look around. Just tell them you just want to look if they approach you. Just be polite at all times and you receive the same respect back.
Haggling with ICR...........

you can try, but I am sure Donna will win in the end and you will probably have to buy her a couple of vodka's for the laughs you will receive. Have a pop into their office when you get there and have a chat with Donna on the trips on offer.
Above all, have a fantastic holiday and I am sure you will be returning to
Icmeler in the very near future.
