Hotel Alinda

Postby bikerjambo » 10 Sep 2009 14:17

Anyone been there what like is it etc etc?
The review sites are a bit of a waste of time cos you always get good and bad reviews, depends what you expect from your hols I suppose!
We know the bar is small and going by the Russian thread theres ahem, working girls hanging around.
Anybody?

We were there in June and we did not see any girls hanging about the bar, but there again we did not use the bar We sat some nights in the Havanna but did not see anything going on. Also i must say that at night there was not a sound in the Hotel and CCTV on every floor. We could not fault it when were were there and would use again. We were a bit like you when we were going but it was ok. Roll on Monday till we are back again but not to the Alinda to Apts that we go to every year.

haven't stayed there but am sure I read somewhere on here that there's new owners/management this season
and that they were working very hard at making it a great place to stay?

I'll go into it in more depth when I do a holiday review but as a little taster, can you imagine going anywhere that counts boiled cucumber as a main course choice at dinner?

You are right Jula, It is the Amalia Bar on the other corner of the Alinda that has closed down this year
