New to Icmeler

Postby bikerjambo » 07 Sep 2009 14:09

Hi Folks, travelling to Icmeler on the 24th of this month and have a few questions I hope you can help me with. We stayed in Marmaris last year but had a few days out in Icmeler and the relative calm compared to Long Beach made up our minds for us! Anyway, questions......

Can you get a dolmus along to Turunc? How long and how much?

The best karaoke bar? We used the Baran in Marmaris last year and enjoyed the atmosphere so someplace roughly the same would ideal (its for a 9 year old aspiring singer).

Trips, we done all the lazy days, jesus beach etc etc last year and were just wondering what else is on offer? The dolphins would have been ideal but its a tad pricey I think.

Thats all I can think of at the moment so I'll thank you all in advance.

Hi bikerjambo (do I know you from somewhere else, by the way? ;) ) - I'm sure you will love Icmeler.
You can indeed get a dolmus to Turunc and I'm sure someone else on here will be able to tell you how long it takes and the cost - you can also go by water taxi as well.
There are quite a few bars which do karaoke - I'm probably not the best person to ask, as I can't stand it myself, but the Deniz Kapisi seems a popular choice for it, and there is also the Canary karaoke bar on the canal. If you do a search for karaoke, you'll find several other suggestions too.
As far as excursions are concerned, if you click on the link at the top of the page, you'll find a host of options - if in doubt, contact the girls at ICR who will be more than happy to sort you out with something which suits your particular likes or dislikes!
