October half term

Postby Lisalala » 01 Sep 2009 16:25

We are thinking of booking for the October half term week which is the very last week in October.
We normally stay self catering in a relatively small complex but I was wondering whether it would be better to book into a larger complex or even a hotel due to it being the end of the season?

This leads onto another question - which hotels offer family rooms or suites? There will be two adults and a 10 and 14 year old.

Also does anyone know if you can book for the excursions this late in the season? If we do book we would probably like to take advantage of the cooler weather and do a bit of sightseeing as when we are in Icmeler in August we just cannot be bothered to go far.

Any help and advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Hi Lisa, Contact ICR by PM or email for a personal enquire into all your requirements, Icmeler in October is still a nice holiday. Best to do it straight away if you need flights from Newcastle.

I have been a few times at the end of october when i was in school! I personally didn't notice any difference apart from the weather, most places still open and quite busy. Don't think it would really make a difference if you stay in a hotel or in an apartment, up to you! We always used to stay up in the old village near deja vu, couldn't get in there one year in october half term as it was fully booked up! :o
