Do you know where Joseph and Levant are now ?They used to run the Old Kitchen Bar.

they are now in Lineakers Bar on the beach

Thanks for that, I thought Linnekars was under Hotel Cartier on Bar Street.

There are two Linekars - one where you say, and the other on the beach.

A bit of a stab in the dark as this was a while back about 3 years ago two guys worked in wonder boys bothers Ali (micky) and mehmet (elivis) Used to speak to them alot but as a changed my number i lost contact with them and would really like to know if they are still in icmeler as would like to come see them when i go in september (the 7th ) lol soo excited if any one no's anything about them please let me know thank you

Can anyone help me please. Three years ago, my hubby and I used to frequent a bar called the Oasis Bar, which was leased to a guy called Muret, who we got really friendly with. He also had a young lad called Riza (aka Chris) working there. Riza got engaged to a young English girl called Kerry whilst we were out there and we were invited to their party which was held at the Oasis Bar. When we left Icmeler, we took addresses and promised to send photo's to them, which we did on our return to England. We heard nothing, and when we went back in 2007, the Oasis Bar had changed name and management, and the only person working there from the previous year was a lad who called himself Fred...who ended up working in the Havana Bar, but left there when he went into the army (we found this much out from the photo gallery).

Hi Tamii. I'm afraid that we haven't got a clue. All that I know is that it is on a crossroad and it was the bar on the opposite corner to the S Hotel's main entrance. There is also a little shop on the other courner. Sahil Sk is the name of the road (we think). Does that help any?

I think the bar you mean is now Joe's Bar - sorry I was thinking of somewhere else. Maybe now you've given more details someone else will be able to help!

Thanks Tamii. As you say, hopefully someone will now be able to help with the extra information.

Joe's bar was called orfe before he changed the name last year. before that he worked at baron restaurant so this could be when the new management took over - end of 2006?
there was a young lad there in 2007 called firat who then moved to havana could this be fred?
sorry i can't help anymore but can have a word with joe tomorrow when i go to see if he knows who owned it before him and if he knows where they moved to?

Hi. Thank you for your help. It was September 2006 when we were there on honeymoon, and yes, Firat was one of the lads who worked there then, and what a joker he was. One night he nearly gave some old lady a heart attack by wearing a mask, going up behind her and tapping her on the shoulder
There was Murat and his brother/cousin (in charge), a tall, slim chap who was a brilliant dancer and DJ, Firat and Riza (Riza was the one who usually danced outside attracting customers). Firat was still at the bar when we went back in October 2007, but had left last year when we went back, and by then was obviously working at the Havana Bar before joining the army. Would be most gratefull if you could find out a bit more for us when you go. Thanks again and have a brilliant time

Just remembered there's a guy who calls himself ali g that also worked at joe's in 2007 who now works at havana too.
yeh firat was definately a character...was forever screaming "oh my gaaaawd...its haaaaawt!" when we were there and wearing a different hat from baby bonnets to straw hats, absolutely hilarious!
i'll speak to joe tomorrow or friday see what he knows.

asked joe where the guys that ran oasis went but he said they left the day after he took over and he doesnt know where to sorry. im sure someone round icmeler will know though. sorry couldnt have been more help.

If you have a look through the photo section in Havana bar pics and also boat trip pics you will see some of the lads you are talking about

We have had a look through the photos of Havana bar, and the only person we knew in them was Firat bless him. Will have another look though just in case we missed someone. Thank you for your suggestion.

maybe ask the guys in the hotel next to joes or in ozlem cafe across the road they might know bit more than joe.
yeh hol was brill just went little bit too quick oh well off to istanbul in january and hopefully 3 weeks in icmeler next summer hope you have a good hol...where you staying?
