great news. jet 2 have just announced they are starting flights from newcastle to dalaman starting 2010

Wish they would start them from Belfast.

I flew with them about 2 years ago to Majorca and said never again. The plane was old and I was a bit concerned that it wouldn't actually make it off the tarmac nevermind to Palma! The staff looked as though they had been pulled in off the street and asked to help out for the day not the usual helpful smiling staff on other flights. After about 2 hours they came around with drinks only there wasn't enough time for the whole plane to be served.
I suppose you could have drank it whilst waiting for your case to come round the carousel!

Each to their own but definitely not for me.

Just been looking at prices for next year and by time all add on's are totalled up it came to £420 for 2 seats flying next September/October so not so cheap.

I checked them out after the annoucement on Monday and also find that the final cost after all the add on's is higher than other Airlines. Nice to have an alternative means of travel but could be last choice.
