Turkey virgins

Postby Yvette » 29 May 2006 17:08

Hi all :D

I've been browsing this forum for the last week or so.
Due to financial curcamstances. we really thought we weren't going to get a holiday this year, but having come across a great offer in the Scottish Daily Mail to Icmeler, we had to go for it.
We've never been to Turkey before having spent the last 5 years going to Bulgaria (cos it's so cheap) when you're talking about a family holiday, when the kids are wee, you know how hard it can be sometimes.
However, reading all the reviews about this place, I really can't wait to go now, it sounds so beautiful.
We are going on 25 June and staying at the Celik Apts.
Can anyone give me any info on these apartments. The rest of the resort sounds so beautiful.
Can't wait.
Yvette

Thanks :)
They do look lovely.
Really can't wait to go.
The beauty of booking at the last minute (well a few weeks) adds to the excitement.

celik aparts

Postby ianwesty » 03 Jun 2006 15:42

we stayed here in oct 1999 (earthquake october!!) The aparts are up near to the pinewood aparts and sahin palace about 15mins walk from the centre. We go back year after year now and stay down the road at the Sevgi aparts (going 23 june) Celik very clean and tidy with great pool and ample sunbeds,Fatima and Hassan the owners are very friendly and I have no hesitation in recommending the aparts. One of the best new restaurants in Icmeler are nearby (next door to the kebab shop on the way into town) Its called the Waysiders.Hamedi and Oz (from the loveboat) run a tidy establishment and meals are excellent.Enjoy your holiday. We'll be there 23 June, can't wait
