World Cup 2010

Hi does any one know when the world cup starts next year?

We will be in Marmaris - Icmeler from 2nd June -16th June 2010 and was wondering if world cup will be on then ?

I personally don't like football but have been to Icmeler in past when its been on and the atmosphere is brilliant so i wont mind going to pub to watch it

I imagine it will be starting about the middle of June, we usually go away in June but i think it will be September next year, because i will be torn between wanting to watch football and wanting to enjoy my holiday properly, i don't think i would be able to do both, without spoiling one or the other.

Are Turkey in any qualifying matches this September? I seem to remember reading they where in three but cant find the post

Yes they are playing on Estonia on Sat 5th Sept and Bosnia on Wed 9th Sept.

Our holiday coincides with both matches as we arrive on 5 Sept around 5 ish so will have time to get sorted and then enjoy the match.
