unfortunatly not been this year, but for the 2 years previous we've stayed with the family that run this hotel they are brilliant. they opened the eda last year it is a lovely hotel, the food is really lovely as usually i wont try anything new, but i did last year and i enjoyed it. its also not far from the beach and its not far to walk to the shops so its pretty much central. when we went the hotel was pretty clean and they cant do enought for you great family hope to go back next year will be definatly staying there.

I'm sure you will love it, Katie. We have stayed with the people who run the Eda twice - both at the Eda itself and at their previous hotel, the Esenkoy. They are the most welcoming, friendliest people you could hope to meet - they will do everything to make your stay special. It is run by the mother and father and the two sons - but all the staff are lovely people. They have become good friends of ours.
The hotel itself is clean and the rooms are about average size, I would say. Breakfasts are typical Turkish breakfast, although you can have a cooked option if you ask for it. It's in a great location too - very central, but we didn't find it at all noisy. I couldn't fault it - and would be happy to stay there again any time.

You will not have any problems with this hotel, tell Engin you know Margo and George and that I will be getting a report from you when you get home, and also I will be seeing him and the family in Sept, only joking he is a good friend of ours and he and his family will do anything for thier visitors. Have a good time, the hotel is in a great position and not noisy.

Hi Katie, We have not stayed at the Eda hotel, which was refurbished 2years ago when it came under it's new ownership, but do call in there most days to visit Christine who works there. Christine used to have the Geordie Bar until 3years ago before she sold the business.
With visiting the Eda we have come to Know the family who run it and they are very friendly and welcoming ,I think you will enjoy your time there. The people we talk to who are staying at the Eda all seem to be happy with it.
Please say hello to Christine for us and tell her we will see on 22 September......John and Mary

Yes, you can also tell Engin and Ersin that Jill, Ian, Zoe and Callum will be popping back in to see them when we (hopefully) come back to Icmeler in October (still trying to finalise the arrangements - fingers crossed!) :)

I'm sure you will like the Eda, Katie - they will really look after you and do everything they can to help you. They really are some of the nicest people we've met.

Hi all, we are staying at the Eda for a week from 1st Oct. I actualy stayed there with my mum about 10 years ago when it was the Bellevue and it was lovely then. We have since popped in several times for a drink and have been made very welcome so decided to stay there this time. The days are not going by quick enough now for our next trip to our little piece of heaven on earth.
