Best Value For Money Restaurants

Postby Erik The Viking » 01 Aug 2009 12:27

What restaurants do you consider to be 'best value for money' in Icmeler. Not necessarily the ones with the best steaks, best looking dancers or free ice creams, but the ones who offer all round value for your lira.

Think quality of food, portion size, service, price of food, price of drinks, menu range, friendliness of staff, location, cleanliness, range of entertainment, decor etc....

If you could spend your holidays happily in just 3 restaurants...which ones would they be?!

If your favourite isnt here please state which and why!

Valentinos is good value, the 3 course set menu is excellent at 18.50 tl.

Ozzys in the Village is superb and much cheaper than Vinces Loveboat Wayside etc. The food is simply fabulous, well presented and service is outstanding. Just down from Ozzys is Meyzem which has a great outdoor eating location very well priced, soft background music and great food ay very reasonable prices

Remember the nights when you almost had to queue as if at the cinema while waiting for a table at the Moonlight. (sorry deviation)

Two not mentioned which I feel offer excellent value for money are the Holiday and the Lemon Tree - great food, excellent service and hospitality. Not a bad word to say about either.

I would liked to have put about 20 restaurants in the poll, but you are only allowed 10 options :(

This is very much a matter of personal taste and preference. Apart from the Waterfall and Love Boat, we have always found the other restaurants that we have used to be good value for money, with excellent choices and their own individual character. We can add and recommend Captain Sinbad's, Cubana, Del Boy's (opposite the Adler), Venice and many more.

We do use the Love Boat and certainly would not condemn it out of hand because of their higher tariffs.

Our choices are Vince's, Bonjour, Cupids and Majestic, always a warm welcome and the food is great in all of them, but our favorite must be Vince's.

Of all my favourites I think Ozzy's is the best value - food and service is fantastic.

One of ours too - not mentioned all that much on here, but offers excellent value for money. The lads are very friendly and helpful too - and you get the best pancakes in Icmeler here as well! :D

the loveboat is an amazing restaurant and i would really recommend going there but its slighly more expensive
you pay for the extra service and lovely food
its worth the extra money though but its not the best value for money if your looking for somewhere cheaper thats why not many people are voting for it
