hi troops, just dropped my daughter and my niece off at glasgow airport hardly a soul there i couldn't believe it don,t know if it's the credit crunch or what but really strange whole airport deserted.well thats them on there way look out icmeler going out myself to check on them on the 11th you know how it is

im sure there are a lot of flights maybe they are just not all full cause of the credit crunch

I wish I hadn't read this one. Gla quiet 2 weeks before the Fair and almost at the peak of the season. Conjures up visions of flights being pulled off because of a lack of bums on seats. We still have almost three months to wait and that's well out of the core of the season.

im sure the flights from glasgow will pick up as a lot of the schools have now finished for summer
all the edinburgh and glasgow ones have finished but this is the last day for those in aberdeen
so there will be an increase in the number of people going out from next week

I wouldnt be surprised if it was quieter - the prices for flights from any of the Scottish airports is absolutely outrageous at the moment. Been trying to get flights for September/October and can't believe what they're asking!

yeah Blondie i completely agree
the prices were so bad for April that we never managed to get a holiday
its ridiclous what they can charge just cause we are coming from scotland
october is really expensive as well
hope the prices go down soon
