Waterpark

Postby PMC » 01 Jul 2009 11:58

Hi all,

Looking to probe for some information that is causing me some concern at the moment.

I believe that the Atlantis Waterpark is the better park in the area from previous threads. As a water lover I expect to pay the park. What I wanted to know is;

Where do you leave your personal belongings? ie if you have extra money/camera/iPod etc with you?

If both of us are in the water and on the slides, do our belongings sit in open view or can you purchase a safebox with a wrist key while in the park?

Is the park far from our hotel and do ICR run a bus to it?

There are lockers available for hire, go to the back of the park beneath the slides on the right, go down some stairs where the toilets are and you will find them there.

I don't know where your hotel is as you haven't said where you are staying so can't help on that one.

The park is busy in the morning easing off in the afternoon so less queues for the slides.

Last year we got the water taxi in the morning to Marmaris, had a look round the castle, a gentle stroll down the prom and stopped for lunch, we then went in the park at 13:30 when they switched the slides back on after a stoppage for lunch. Left the park about 17:00 and caught a taxi back to Icmeler.

I've just returned from Icmeler and spent a very enjoyable day at Atlantis waterpark. The locker was included with our entrance fee and there was a member of staff on duty outside the locker area so everything should be safe. The locker key you get is not on a wristband. Its literally just the key.
