Hi
Welcome to the forum.
I would say definitely change your money out there. You will get a much better rate and there are many places to get change. People recommend the supermarket below the ICR offices in the main square for good rates.

Also bear in mind that sterling is accepted in many places and can be useful in bartering for that bargain.

As for the heat, You can count on HOT.

My son and I fly out on Thursday so will be out there the same time as you guys so have a fab time, as I'm sure we will

Cheers
Rog

hiya welcome to the forum
hope you find it very useful
its better to exchange your money over there as you will get a better rate than you will do in the UK
there are lots of exchange places but its best to go into any little local supermarkets and ask them if they will change it for you as they normally give you a better rate than the exchange places
have an amazing holiday :)
hope this helps

Hi...lucky you! We've been back about 10 days now :( We always use sterling for most of our stuff....meals,shopping etc and nowhere in Icmeler has refused us.Always a little Turkish lire for the sunbeds and small purchases, tho I honestly dont think it would be a problem using sterling!BBC weather site was very accurate when we were there, had forecast 37,38,39 and thats what we got.Have a great time!

Hi, last year we just took sterling and just went with the flow. They are very flexible. Have a great holiday, I am going to miss it so much this year.
