I would recommend the Sultan Jewellers - brilliant, lovely new collection for this year too I hear!

Trouble is its always so difficult to choose as it's all lovely!

Sultan is situated below Prince Apartments, opposite Cupids restaurant.

Aquamarine on the main cross roads of town is a good place. We bought our wedding rings there 3 years ago and I bought my hubby a chain for a wedding present too. Just come back and bought myself a lovely pair of earrings, which they done a good deal on. They remembered us from buying our rings. Its the place opposite Azra jewellers.

Totally agree, go there every year even if just for a chat and a glass of wine, will see them this year as the wife has broken her bracelet which needs repairing plus she wants a new ring.

Probably a stupid question here; is the jewellery authentic in the jewellers in Turkey? Something I've always wondered as the clothes are mostly fake.

jewellery is authentic, and if you get it valued back home, you'll find it is valued at much more than you paid for it! :)

I know there have been quite a few posts on here in the past from people who've bought all kinds of jewellery in Icmeler and had it valued when they returned home, to be pleasantly surprised at being given a much higher valuation than they had paid for the items. Most folk seem to be delighted with the quality and the service they receive from local jewellers in Icmeler.
I'm not really a jewellery person - however, I did keep hinting to hubby that I'd like a Turkish star pendant for our silver wedding while we were in Icmeler earlier this month, but he wouldn't take the bait!

yeah the jewellery in turkey is much better than the jewellery in the Uk
and you will find that the piece you buy in turkey is valued in the UK for about double the price
their gold is very substancial

We have used Tony's Jewllery for the last 3 years. Very friendly and genuine guy. He is not pushy, and will let you browse to your hearts content. His shop is opposite the L'Etoile Hotel.

I agree Firuze is fantastic some really unusual, original items designed by Murat the owner. It's just a bit down from Tansas near Pop Inn Bar. We bought some things last year and got them valued for insuance when we came home and everything was worth a bit more than we paid. He remembered us when we went back this year and I got a lovely pair of earrings for my mother in law at a very good price. Enjoy shopping!
