Off tomorrow

Im off to icmeler tomorrow, well excited to go back :D wondering if anyones home recently or there now? how is the weather right now? is it chilly in the evenings? think i can remember it was last year this time. :wink:

and my turkish friends are saying its hot at night

sounds good! we're off tomorrow as well (2140MAN with Thomas Cook, staying at the Mitos Apartments). We can't wait!! first time to Icmeler and really looking foward to it.

Just a general question:

People have mentioned how paying for things in Sterling often gets you a better rate. How do you know this, is it on the receipt or something... I'm not too clued up on my 2.4 times table!

We've changed a few liras and will either change up the rest over there or pay for meals in sterling if we know we're getting a good rate.

my post on exchange rates In supermarket below ICR office the best rate in Icmeler 245 In ATMs and Bureau de Change 234 I know you will have a great time and try to eat at Champagne near dolmus terminus .

Try the "Fried Ice Cream" out of this world.

johnny-power you will see on things like boat trips etc where it will advertise the price in lira and £s ie a lazy day boat trip will cost you £10 if you pay in English and will work out more if you pay in lira, same in the market and the stalls around the canal,they will have prices in English and Turkish, not sure about restaurants though. :)
