Icmeler Online Holiday Forum & Reviews - Turkey

Hi everyone
Have been coming to Icmeler for the past 5 years but this year hubby has booked to go to Thailand the beginning of July, my in-laws have an apartment in Kalkan (but I have never been) was so gutted that I am not visiting Turkey this, but the in-laws have asked us to out to their apartment so will at least get my Turkey fix for the year even thought it is not Icmeler. Has anyone ever been to Kalkan.

A friend of ours has a Villa in Kalkan. It is a very small and beautiful place. It used to be a fishing village, much quieter than Icmeler. Im sure he mentioned to us that there is no beach as such there, just a fishing port. Check this as I am not 100% sure, this is only second hand knowledge as we have never been there. But even though you won't be going to Icmeler this year you will still be getting the feel of Turkey.

I can't wait for our hols. We travel from Wales to Manchester and fly out on the 29th July for three weeks until the 22nd August (sheer bliss) We have been going to Icmeler now since 1995 and still in love with the place and the people. I'm sure you will have a wonderful holiday.
