Hiya, Going back to
Icmeler next month and have read great reviews of the waterfall. I don't remember seeing it when I was there last year, does anyone have a rough idea where it is? Thanks

We've been to
Icmeler twice and to be honest this is where we have had out worst meals.
The setting is lovely but i've always been let down with the food and we find it more expensive than some of the other restaurants.

We found the same problem as you Rachel. We have tried it on 3 different occassions and each time one of our meals was just awful. Maybe we have always been unlucky. As all I ever read is good reports. Needless to say they have had their chance and we won't be giving it another go.

I looked at this question this morning and thought I know where the Waterfall is, I have seen it, but just couldnt think where it was.
Only directly across from my balcony at Vinces, that I looked at every morning and every evening - I blame the efes, or the vodka.

I totally agree with Rachel and Lynda - I have been to the Waterfall twice and both times were a complete disaster. We waited over an hour to be served our starter then another 45 minutes for our main meal, which, when it finally arrived was cold. They did offer us something else from the menu but by then couldn't be bothered waiting any longer and left.

Hey Reesy it's good stuff that efes!! hee! you'll be saying you also saw little animals hopping around in a pen next
I avoid it because I'm allergic to guinea pigs

Went once before I noticed the guinea pigs, wasn't brilliant.

Thanks for that, doesn't sound as good as the reviews!
I'll maybe not go out of my way to find it then

Haha, well funny you should say that, but sitting in the Irish Bar last October, I said to Phill, hey look at that rabbit walking up and down the street, and he didnt believe me until he turned around. Next thing I seen was a chicken walking up towards us, he didnt believe me again, but it was true.
No guines pigs though lol

Hi Redman! Pleased to see at least one good report, I was begining to think I'd been seeing things with the reviews. I agree we didn't have a bad meal in Icmeler last year either, too many good places to choose from. Thank you

We love the Waterfall, but did notice last year that we had to wait a long time for our starter, but the restaurant was very busy. However I felt it was worth the wait cos I just love the chicken biryani, its ace.

Can't say I've had a bad meal in there either. I like the setting for it, and it's nice if you can get a seat by the waterfall, we throw the bread to the ducks as they always bring to much.

We have been using The Waterfall for years and have never had a bad meal. We tend to go early evening as to avoid waiting as it is very popular. Bring on the chicken casserole on july 24th

We had a lovely steak meal there a couple of years back but haven't been recently. Hey reesy we saw 3 rabbits last October outside Irish Bar regularly. Strong stuff that Efes! Nicknamed it Bunny Boulevard.
