whats the rules???

okay, im kinda new to this forum, can someone tell me what you can and cant do, someone asked for help, and i answered them gave them a web site, etc, asked them a question about a hotel, that she mentioned she had been to and the website was edited as well as my question, which was what time does the bar shut lol, so are you not allowed to tell people abt websites with info on it about the hotel they are going to? or ask questions about an hotel?

Hi jani and wellcome to the forum.

I think the first thing to understand is that Icmeleronline is a travel company selling Hotel and Apartment holidays worldwide,they also do a Flights and transfare service.
A full range of excursions are also avaliable on the main page along with a car /jeep hire facility.
The forum is made avaliable for us to discuss our holidays and give each other information about our favourite resort.
When a post offers a different flight service or links to companys offering the same facilities as ICR these are more often than not deleted(but not always) as they are in competition with ICR and as this is the Icmeleronline holiday site it is understandable.

Do not advertise other airline companys.
Other transfare companies
Hotels not covered by ICR.
Advertise other companies selling tours and boat trips.

This is how I see the forum as a member and is not the managements view.
After a while you will pick up the does and donts and they are worth putting up with as this is a first class information forum on Icmeler.
I hope you have many an hour browsing the pages.

Hiya and welcome to the ICR forum

I think Gene and Steve have covered the rules, although we don't put them up anywhere as we don't wish to ram them down people's throats, we let you pick them up as you go along.

Don't worry about threads being locked or posts being edited, we do it to safeguard ourselves, yourself and mainly ICR the company.

Just to add, we don't associate ourselves with links to other websites or companys as we are a travel company, and as you have seen of late, some travel companies went under, this safeguards ICR from being afilliated with them in times like this.

Enjoy our forum, everyone is very friendly and welcoming and will do there best to answer any queries you have, after all Icmeler is a big love in our lives

okay, I understand now, thankyou to everyone who helped, and this forum has been in the past very useful to me, and i,M sure it will continue to be, ive been going to icemler, for about 6yrs now, and absolutely love the place, stayed at a couple of icr hotels, and always had a good time, so its nice to be involved in a forum who like me just loveeeeeeeeee icmeler, thankyou for your nice replys

PS one thing no one's mentioned is there's no text-speak allowed either and Colette likes to keep us on track with our posts, so you may also see "keep on the topic please" posts directed at you
