Hi All just found this on Dalaman airport site you might be able to claim the tax back on goods you have bought in Turkey

Tax Free
The passengers not residing in Turkey may take the VAT amount back when they buy a product. Tax refund statement shall be made in departing passenger halls before the Check-in procedures. You shall cause the confirmation of the Tax Free checks accompanied by the bought goods, invoice/check and your passport in the Customs Inspection Office of the terminal departure hall. The customs officers inform the passengers about the Tax Free system

I think the next bit means you show what you bought with receipt to customs in departure lounge and then customs will tell you what's what!! Thanks Steve  Ha Ha Grammar school education and still baffled ?????
