Hello Wayne,

if you're prepared to wait a few weeks, we are booked in at the Blue Rainbow from the 11th till the 18th June. I'll be posting a full report and loads of pictures, maybe even a video.

I havent stayed in the Blue Rainbow myselfe, but have booked both my son and daughter in the hotel over the last 3 years, my daughter has stopped there twice and my son once, both say that they would stay in the hotel again for its posistion in the resort, breakfasts they say got repetetive but everything about the hotel outweighed this negative.

I have visited the rooms and also used the facilities of the pool and pool bar area and I can say they cannot be faulted.
If I wanted to go in an Hotel in Icmeler I would choose this one,but we prefer SC.

Gene

If it wasn't for the fact that my 3 teenagers have to share a room!!! I would go back like a shot, nice and clean , polite staff, I enjoyed the Turkish breakfast! excellent location. If just the two of us I would stay there this year, deffo!

I stayed at the Blue Rainbow it was very clean and the staff were friendly

Room was not very big and the bathroom was tiny, but we had a beautiful seaview which made up for it. One problem with our room was it had a adjoining door to the room next to us, which I felt was a bit of a passion killer because we could here everything going on in the next room, if you can hear them they must hear you.

Never had breakfast (not up early enough for it) or ate at the hotel to many nice places to eat in Icmeler to stay in hotel.

The only thing I had to get used to was the lift being on the outside of the hotel I'm not very good with heights and had to go up with eyes shut.

I would go back to this hotel as it is in a great possition for everything

I have stayed in Rainbow and in sister hotel next door several times over the last 6 years, they are in great position for centre and the beach, the rooms in rainbow are adequate and very clean although they are fairly small compared with Elif next door there is ample storage room and you arent falling over things all the time. Bathroom is good with hairdryer etc and there is the added bonus of a fridge but watch out the drinks in the fridge are counted daily and charged at end of stay. I only had breakfast a couple of times and it was a typical turkish breakfast meat, cheese eggs etc. I am booked in the Elif for June and will probably stay in Rainbow in September.

I stayed there a couple of years ago, the rooms were small but clean, the only downfall with the room was that it was at the front of the hotel and it was very noisy at night.

The food was ok, the breakfast was a bit repetative but it was ok for a snack. The evening meals were catering for the Russians so we were told by the chef, the food did not agree with us at all so we started eating out. If you like Blancmange you will be in for a treat, they have 5 different flavours evry night

I probably would stay there again if it was self catering as there are so many restaurants in Icmeler to eat in,but i would ask for a room at the back
