Just a little reminder to everyone whilst on holiday dont forget to drink plenty of water, I am not new to the heat in Icmeler but I had an experience last year, I had only been there for one day when i blacked out and was taken to hospital and put on a drip for 2 day, although the hospital in Marmaris was fine it is not my way of enjoying Turkey, you can guarantee I will be drinking plenty this year and the odd gin and tonic.

I think that goes for every country in the world, we all need water!

I think I should drink more water when I'm over there. I don't really like water as daft as that may sound, but was a little ill myself last year.

since my ankles swelled like balloons on our first visit to Icmeler, I've always made sure to drink 2/3 of those tall water bottles a day
really seems to help

I tend to buy frozen water as no-one likes to drink water that has been by the pool for ages and gone warm ..YUK!

I always drink loads of water during the day then would be rude not to drink vodka in the evenings

Some of the 'supermarkets' / grocery stores sell ready-frozen bottles of water, which are a great idea for taking to the beac or having by the pool, as the ice slowly melts to water throughout the day. Especially in July/August time when the temperatures are way up!
