Hi all let me first say how much i have enjoyed this forum, been trawling through the post for the last few months and found it very informative. my name is Rod this will be my second visit to Turkey the first was in 1995 at a place called Side after that we said never again the hassle was 24/7. been told its a lot better now, the wife works mates have been going to Icmeler for years and they love it so we thought we will give it ago fingers crossed dont mind friendly banter. paid this week going on 15th of June fly from Manchester at 7-40 am hopefully with Th on fly staying at the Pinewood app and once again a great site

Hi Medbug a big welcome to the forum from me and OH, we are sure you will really enjoy your holiday. We fly out on the 19th June for 2 weeks so keep an eye on the June holiday thread and if you fancy putting some faces to names come along to one of the meets at Vince's, good fun had by all.

And as Steve said , if there is anything you need to know about Icmeler just ask the question and I'm sure an answer wont take to long to appear.

Hi Medbug, welcome to our little (well not so little) community. Sure you'll love Icmeler as much as the rest of the forum members. We go on 11th June so there at same time as you. If you're at Vince's on a Friday night we'll be there.

You'll just be over the road from us. We are going 7th-22nd June we are in the Kurt apartments and the Pinewood where you are staying is just a stones throw away.

welcome medbug...we arrive in resort on 21st june for a week hopefully we will meet up with the regulars at Vinces..once you viist Icmeler you wont want to go elsewhere...

Hi Rod,

I agree with what's said above, you will love the place, and can pretty-much guarantee you'll be back there before you know it!

It's the first overseas holiday destination that I have returned to after the first visit... now I'm booked up to go again at the end of this month for my 4th visit there in under 3 years

You'll find info on just about anything on these here forums, so don't be shy, and hope you have a great holiday!
