Hi everyone

I've heard Mehmet might not be running Korsan Bar this year, does anyone know where he will be? I've sent a message to his nephew on facebook just waiting for a reply

Well I've found out korsan does have new owners but don't know who it is as the person who does know has been sworn to secrecy
I'm not sure where Mehmet will be this year yet as no reply from his nephews

Next update is that Mustaffa, owner of Prince is now running Korsan Bar!

I've still not found out where Mehmet is though

Mehmet is in Icmeler but he doesn't know where he will be working this season. Apparently Hakan of Old Famous Kitchen is at the Beach Linekers this year.

Yes he is along with Levent at the moment but could change any day as soon as restaurants start to open

Good to hear he'll still be around in Icmeler - anyone know if any of the lads who were working with him at the Korsan are working for him this year?

Which one is the Pop Inn??

Pop inn is the restaurant next to Azra jewellers,almost opposite the Set steakhouse just up from the underground market.Hope this helps.

There is only one of the ex Korsan staff working with him (sorry, cant remember his name but he's got a brilliant smile).

The staff there are very nice and so is the owner, we were introduced to him and its quite clear that he knows that Mehmet is capable of running the place so good luck to him.

We had a bit of a giggle with Mehmet though as we got talking about food and his plans for the menu and I've promised him a copy of Jamie Olivers cook book so we've recristened him Mehmet Oliver .... look out for the menu boards, "Mehmet Olivers Special tonight is ........ " he seemed to quite like the idea

Another game of 'where's Mehmet' he has left Pop Inn need to find out where he is again

So, when I go out on the 3rd July, I'll have to start my search again unless anyone finds him beforehand .....

Spoke to Mehmet on Thursday when we were over in Icmeler. He told he to say he is sorry he has not spoke to anyone but he can not get a connection. He is still in the Drop Inn and said he will see you all when you come over. If he was going to somewhere else i think he would have said to put on here where he was going. Also Tiger's Ex Venice brother is with him again.
