Prices of food/drink/entertainment 2009

Postby kingtut » 02 Apr 2009 13:39

Hi all.

I thought i would put this post up as i feel that this was one of the driving factors that made me choose Icmeler that i know so well, over going further afield this year. We priced up a long haul holiday, but as we werent willing to risk an unsatisfiable holiday...it was Icmeler again hands down.

With the Euro and dollar being worth more than it has for many years, i was hoping that this wouldnt be a reason for Turkey to become more expensive - fingers crossed.

As such i would just like to know from people who have been this season to let the rest of us waiting (eagerly 8) ) to go, what they paid this year against last year for things whilst there, and did they notice any price differences.

My apologies if a similair thread has been posted, i couldnt find one when i looked :?

Cheers

Went out 3 weeks ago. Pound was about 2.4 and the Efes was about 3TL in the 3 Bells. Food prices hadn't changed either, so it's looking good for this year as turkey is out of the Euro zone.
