Hi all!
I am new to this and hope you can help me. I have been to
Icmeler twice with friends and have managed to persuade my partner to come with me this year....yippee!
The first time I stayed in apartments in the old village, the Blue Star and the second time, I stayed in the Selen 2. I loved both these hotels however would like to try somewhere different this year (quite central). I want to make sure it is great fun for my partner so he can love Icmeler as much as I do! Any tips or suggestions on where to stay would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
Sam

Hi Sam, we stay at Avlu 1 it is right on the main road you are central with everything. The rooms are cleaned every day and the staff are brill they will do anything for you. They have a nice pool, childrens play area and a pool table which we often have killer competitions when bars are shut it lasts for days good laugh. Hope this helps

Hi Sam
We are staying at the blue star this year, i do believe it is being run by Kurdish people now. What facilities do they have in there rooms .i e toaster etc. We stayed in the Club Capella for the firsy 4 yrs of us going to Icmeler. Last year we stayed at the Doruk apartments, which is a stone throw away from the beach. Clean apartments very basic. We were on the top floor so it was a bit of a hike because they didnt have a lift. Nice pool, didnt really see much of the staff, but if ever we wanted anything they were very helpful.
We met a couple who have stayed in the Prince, they said that was nice.

I was told in 2006 that these aparts and Capello were owned by the same person who owned Kontes beach and Efendi , we stayed there September 2007( Blue Star) was still told the same.

Hi Jane,
When we stayed there in 2007 there was a toaster, fridge, basic rooms but clean, quiet at night but to far out for us we like to be central more going on.Tommy's restaurant do a smashing Sunday dinner and there are a couple of mini supermarkets to get your odds and sods just a couple of minutes walk, enjoyed our time there but like I say just to quiet.

Blue Star and Club Capella were both open last year, the owners were British, a husband and wife. I got talking to them while waiting outside for the dolmus and ended up drinking there several times, don't know what the apartments are like but the owners were lovely. That was in August/September 08.
