Only 8 weeks on Friday and we'll be going to Icmeler for the 1st time. I'm already getting really excited about going, so heaven knows what I'll be like by the time its only 8 days away. I know I'm going to love Icmeler.

I wish I'd known about this forum before I'd booked though, cos I don't think
I'd have booked AI at the Mirage Hotel. But never mind, its all booked and paid for now and I have a list of what seem like really good eating places, just in case the hotel food isn't nice. The hotel looks as though its in a good position for the beach, bars etc.

Can any anyone tell me which are the best bars to go in that are really near to the Mirage?

Deniz Kapisi situated on the sea front is only 3 minutes away from your hotel a Karaoke bar and restaurent serving good food and first class entertainment.
Next door to Kapisi is The Harmony Show Bar,they put on a first class drag show which is free to enter, this place again serving good food.
Next door to Harmony you have Liberty Bar again a good night out.

A little up the road from your Hotel is
Wonderboys Restaurent and Bar
Waterfall Restaurent and Bar
Across the road you have the
Champagne Bar
Heat and Breeze a new venue for music and dancing

All these places not a couple of minutes from your home, venture a little further and Icmeler is your Oyster.

Thanks for your replies. By the time we get there, I'll have such a long list of bars I want to try, we'll not have time to fit them all in. Either that or I'll be too sozzled to remember which Ive been in. lol

Hi

We stayed at the Mirage before it went AI and it was great, Since it went AI a couple of years ago I think ( from differing reports) that generally it has really improved. You'll have agreat time anyway !
With regard to the different bars I don't think that you'll have time to try many as you'll probably be too slozzled from your AI stay.!
Has it not changed its name to something else since going AI ?
Enjoy it, and don't forget to let us all know when you will be giving us the 'Web Cam Wave' !!!!!

I was begining to wonder if you'd been on the Efes for breakfast, there, Mark :)

We booked it as Mirage so I dont know if the name has changed now. I've noticed though, some of the hotels do seem to go under two names so maybe it has changed.

Yes, once I've found the Web Cam, I'll give you all a wave.
