First you catch the dolmus to Tansas in Marmaris, from there you can get one to the bus station at the top end of Marmaris. You need to catch the Fethiye bus, they run every thirty minutes, get off in Ortaca and from the same bus station you get the dolmus to Dalyan, which go every half hour, so depending on waiting time at the various connections it takes probably three hours. Bearing in mind the buses run till after midnight you can still have a wonderful day in Dalyan. If you want to get to Iztuzu beach (turtle beach) you catch a dolmus from Dalyan bus station to the beach. Well worth the effort, enjoy the trip. :) :)

I go on holiday to Dalyan every year... its a really stunning part of turkey.  pm me if you want any info.  There is a daily dolmus between dalyan and marmaris, takes an hour. if you were willing to stay a night in dalyan you could get the dolmus back to marmaris in the morning... leaves dalyan at 10.  I can recommend a place to stay.. basic but cheap... only cost you a few quid including breakfast.!!
