Anybody care to predict what the exchange rate is going to be in say June and August £1 = ?

Hopefully around 3.5

my crystal ball tells me around 2.35. if you look at chart over the year its at its highest april and end october for some reason

How about a little bit of a gamble/lottery here
If we could involve Gene with one of his updateing lists. we could pick a date in the middle of the season, say July 17, and we can all pick a figure, the one of us that is nearest to the official bank rate at this time and to the nearest 4 points at say mid-day, gets a treat !! [to be decided]

I am also predicting around 2.27-2.30 it was looking more promising a couple of weeks ago, but the exchange rates seem to of plumeted again. The euro was even up to around 1.10 but its back down to 1.02 again. Hopefully if it reached 2.30 in the UK then we will probably get about 2.35 in resort.

2.16 is bad, along with other profit makeing buisnesses, I think we should look at the true bank rate, it is at this moment 2.2703,on XE.com dont sound as bad that way

I'm predicting 2.55

Did anyone actually go and buy some ytl a few months back when it shot up to 2.70\2.80. Lucky those who did - i remember a few saying they were going to.

We were there in october when it was 2.75 to the pound. The guy in greenhouse clothes shop said he thought it would be would be around 3ytl to the pound next season, so we didn't bother changing any.
Hope he was right.

Lets hope it goes up, but I am preparing myself to get no more than 2.35 in resort if it goes higher then its a bonus.

use nationwide account you will get better exchange rate than anyone can offer in resort.last august by using account i was better of by approx £90 in 3 weeks i spent there.

i bourght some lira and got 2.69 last year, but i didnt see it go any higher, and glad i got some when i did....

i check it several times a week on the tesco site

asked at local bank on friday and their rate was 2.19, hopefully it'll start to rise soon, last year got 2.40 in july

All the currency was getting better, but according to the papaer yesterday they seem to of gone down again. euro has gone back down to 1.01 and lira was 2.19 on friday but was 2.16 yesterday. But as our country is officially in resetion who knows how it's going to go, things could get worse if the £ weakens any more.

We were getting 2.10 in the resort last September,and worked out we got about £150 less spending money than the previous year That's a lotta Efes we missed out on

I predict it may go to about 2.34 this September....hopefully
