Magic Garden - or is it Secret?

Postby babs » 25 Apr 2006 12:40

I am talking about the one with the strange concrete seats and cushions and farming tackle on the walls.
Excellent place to while away a few hours on a sunny day!
Does anyone know if the owner managed to sell this bar - it was up for sale in September :?:

Fist time we came across The Secret Garden was late one evening.
All the fairylights and trees gave the place a magical glow.
We couldnt find this place again till our second visit to Icmeler when we stumbled on it again, and again the site of The Secret Garden was a joy.

Is it just up the side road which runs at the side of the Diva Hotel?

Magic Garden

Postby neighbour » 25 Apr 2006 15:59

Hi all re Magic Garden, great place, have you been inside house, they sell art work of surrounding area, I go quite often when im in Icmeler, Im sure its at the side of the Bell view Hotel just down the side street, you can cut through this way to get to the banks and the Chill Bar. Have I got the right one? it does have concrete seats with lovely cushions and glowing coloured lights in the trees.

Definately the magic garden, past bonjour and lighthouse turn right and it's right in front of you. Lovely place for a quiet end to the evening, they play nice relaxing music in lovely surroundings.

You are right about the paintings - the owners husband is an artist and I think it is his handywork.

We usually go around 4pm after the day on the beach - nice place to cool down - we have met lots of nice people over the years in there, but it never seems to get busy

I was workýng ýn a bar last year and the only place people ever really complaýned about the hassle was summer gardens. People saýd the man outsýde was very ýntýmýdatýng and on a few occasýons resorted to bad language. Not a good way to deal wýth customers!

Knowing that place the little accident may have tasted better than our meal.
It was a woman on the door when we went in,all flanel and no substance.
