hello everyone.roy here.new to this forum & i'm looking for any advice on going to icmeler at the end of july or first two weeks in august.i've drawn up a shortlist of three places we like the look/sound of.these are-efendi apartments, oren apartments & eda hotel.does anyone on here have recent experience of any of these? looked on holidaytruths & there does'nt seem to be much wrong in any way with them,or perhaps you can recommened another place for us to stay? we are a mid thirties couple with a 9 year old girl.thanks for taking the time to read this, roy. i've always gone into a travel agency & booked that way so i'm a tad worried something will go wrong!

welcome

I would also highly recommend the Eda. The family who run it are some of the friendliest, most welcoming people I've ever met. They honestly can't do enough to ensure your holiday is a great success. The Eda is also really well located - very central, yet not at all noisy. As mandi has already said, it's clean and has a nice pool. Just a short walk from the canal and beach too.

Hi Roy and welcome
Like the others have said, if you are still unsure then the ICR staff will help you make the best choice for what you want out of your holiday
Brace yourself for replies to your request for suggestions of other accom to stay in - we all have our favourites ha ha.
As for things going wrong, at least if you're with ICR you know you'll be in safe professional hands
Happy New Year and hope you enjoy your hol as much as we do

cheers karen. i don't suppose you know how much the air-con was do you?

can't help you with the air con prices roy but it's worth pointing out that if you get a taxi, either ask the price BEFORE he sets off or better still, ask him to put the meter on
we got stung last year on our first taxi trip (we were still very white and easy to spot ha ha), and out of politeness, we paid but we did learn our lesson - to be fair though, we've never come across that before

I think it was about £60 for the two weeks its a bit more than some places but you need it. ours kept stopping so if you get any problems just let then know at reception. I think you will enjoy it and there is a great slide into the pool we had alot of fun on it 8)
