We've stayed in the Pinewood twice and we've loved it both times. It's in the Old Village but not too far away from the main road.

My room didn't have air conditioning but my brother and his girlfriend decided to pay for it because it was too hot for them. They said it was very good and they had it on everytime they were in the apartments. That was July though.

I've never been May but from people I know, who have, it's not as warm as in July and August but it's still pretty hot.

In the town try Iguana or Demircioglu which has an excellent restaurant attached and with no pressure at all to eat there.

Ustun in the town is also another excellent one especially if you don“t like the larger complexes.

Tuncay or Rhodes in the village if you like it a bit out of the town

Thanks everybody for your responses, appreciated, but have given me a lot to think about (pleasant things). Might just return to the Blue Rainbow - which we enjoyed.

If you do fancy the Blue Rainbow then we are still selling it on a half board basis (when I last looked everyone was selling all inclusive) as well as all inclusive
