hi,a yes we went from manchester in september, look up budget airport parking, it cost £37 to leave the car in secure parking for 2 weks, they send you the directions via email, on arrival you park up and catch a curtesy bus to the airport, its about 20 min away,, as soon as you collect your luggage on arrival back in the uk you ring them [they give you a card with number on] they then pick you back up. WHEN YOU PARK YOUR CAR WRITE DOWN THE NUMBER OF THE PARKING SECTION WHERE YOU LEFT YOUR CAR otherwise you will be there hours looking..its massive.

I used Premier parking at Manchester Airport in Sept, paid £68 for almost 3 weeks, they photoraph your car on the way in, you hand in your keys and get on the little bus, 5 to 10 mins to the terminal

We always use Shuttle park service first class no problems just park your own car keep your keys wait at the nearest shelter for the transfer bus.
Coming back just go the bus stop maxium wait 10/15 minutes. Plus the price is very good.Cheers

Tried airport parking too much trouble can take an age to find a parking bay and you could end up walking quite a distance to get back to the airport this goes for Liverpool and Manchester.a lot easier getting an airport transfer not too expensive from Runcorn don't know about other places.

Hi Colette
I used to work for a car delivery firm and the first thing they do when they pick up a new car is take the odometer fuse out so the mileage doesn't register.

Thanks for your help guys.

Will have a look at your suggestions and price them up. Just with us flying at 6.45 no one can take us as we'll have to there about 3.45 as flying with easyjet it's first come first served on seats they board you in order of check in so if your late you could end up being last on plane and sat apart.

we only live 40 mins away from airport so no point really, we got a lift there last year but got taxi home and it cost 40 quid so thought we'd just take car and park it.
