Transfers - Bodrum / Dalaman

Postby john G » 29 Oct 2008 16:36

Hi all,
Has anybody done the transfer from Bodrum to Icmeler and if so how long did it take and how many more miles is it than Dalaman. The last few years we've landed at Dalaman but the flights for bodrum are nearly £100 cheaper per person from Newcastle.

There will be a party of nine going in late August and we'll be using ICR for the transfers so just trying to get facts and figures at the moment.

Cheers John

My first trip to Marmaris was in 2006 and that was to Bodrum, I think it was approximately 40 minutes longer than the Dalaman transfer, but I cant remember exactly. Sorry.

Hi John

we looked at doing this this year it takes about 2-2.30hrs if you dont stop I would suggest if you do fly in to Bodram that you use ICR for your transfer as they will only stop if you ask them to you will find the price at this link http://www.icmeleronline.com/icmeler_ai ... nsfers.php

Hi Steve,
Thanks for that - I rang ICR today to confirm prices and how long it took. Decided against it and now looking at Dalaman due to the very early return flight out of Bodrum (0600).

Thanks again,
Cheers John.

One thing perhaps to be wary of is the flight times are very much subject to change. I know this year many of the flight times that people had booked well in advance were changed. the journey is about 45 minutes longer but if you are saving £100, well thats a lot of efes

Hi All,
Yeha - just booked for August 20th, party of 9 with flights from Newcastle to Dalaman. Nobody wanted the extra travel and when worked out there was little in it thanks to an extra discount :D maybe it would've stretched to a round of efes for the whole party.

Just got to contact ICR tomorrow morning to arrange the Dalaman transfers. :D

Counting the days already
Cheers John
