Learning to speak turkish

Postby Elayne » 28 Oct 2008 12:26

hi, I am now in week 4 at my local college learning turkish, I am loving it  apart from this week we were learning plurals, oh my god how hard is that part, has anyone else been to classes or got any easy learning tips.
Also this year i have decided that as my birthday is November and I will never have a birthday in sunny icmeler as my boyfriend does EVERY year then as a substitute we are going to Efes restaurant in Manchester, not quite the same but not bad.

Good luck with your lessons. Just persevere and it will pay off in the end. I have never been for lessons, but would love to. Due to work committments I could never fit it in.

Hope you have a great birthday at the Efes in Manchester.

Here is a link to a thread where someone else is learning Turkish. Maybe you could both exchange notes.

Daughter and I would love to learn Turkish - but I don't think there's anywhere remotely near us which does classes. The books, CDs, etc are useful, but I always think it is easier to learn another language at an actual class. Good luck with your lessons, Elayne!
