We live at the foot of Snowdon (highest mountain in Wales) and we have today had our first snow. Looks like an early Christmas card, but still I hope this is not a taste of what is to come! Roll on August 2009 when we will be back in Paradise

Absolutely! it's times like this that I find it hard to believe I was hiding in the shade in Icmeler in July  My winter clothes are well and truly in use already, and I won't be peeling the layers off until May

We are also under a blanket of snow. It's falling heavily as I type oh to be back in Paradise. May turn up the heating and open an efes or 2 and dream.

Light rain in South Wales just now, and surprisingly not very cold, but there was a very heavy frost this morning.

Went out to work this morning and the cars windscreens were all frozen, that's when you know winter had well and truely set in.

Aww it would be lovely to see his face the first time he sees it. We do tend to forget how excited we used to be as Children when it started snowing, but in Scotland we used to take it for granted every winter, all the kids would be out making slides on the path - brilliant memories.
Hopefully your Nephew will get to see some snow soon.
