Prices in restaurants

Postby smc4761 » 12 Oct 2008 17:17

just back from Icmeler and I was really really shocked at the prices

How can they be so cheap and great value, especially in bars and restaurants. before we went lots of folks were complaining about high prices and generally me and Mrs smc4761 did not find that

Many bars were 2 lira/2.5 lira for a beer, 5 lira cocktails and local drinks and many restaurants had great set meal deals. The old village area in particular was very well priced. We ate out at night, turkish bread, 2 starters 2 chicken dishes 2 beers and 2 diet cokes for around 45/50 lira.
Ozzys, Guys and Dolls, Deja Vu, Mr Chef and the Masala in particular were excellent The quality of the food was not compromised by the price, nor the portions.
Dont get me wrong some of the "quality restaurants" LoveBoat, Waterfall, Chef you may have paid a bit more, but you did not have to spend all day hunting for a meal at a great price

I have also added a holiday review of another good holiday in Icmeler
