has anyone lese found that when they go away things seem to happen to them. every year/time ive been to turkey soemthing has happend. eg. slipped over in the shower ripped the shower curtain down with the pole and it hit me. was rather funny. got tarmac stuck to me leg dont even no how. slipped over on the marble floor oppisite poppins. if i wrote i list on things i would be here forever lol.

Worst thing I get is swollen ankles and mossie bites

I went away one year with a loose front tooth and couldnt eat any meat or chicken.
Survived two weels on pasta and egg fried rice

oh and Efes.

me n my mum a few years back was going through a market in marmaris it was a covered up one. and we were walking past some man who was holding up knickers. he turned round and said to my mum we sell big knickers here. you need big knickers. well you should of seen my mums face lol. and she's only a size 12. hehe

things thats happened on our travels not always icemeler

go karting first time i may add sat in cart presses pedal to make cart go got to corner at full speed no one told me to turn the wheel and press break and went flying straight into tyre wall which made cart jump up in the air on landing , biggest bruise i ever had on bum
hubby first pair of flip flops takes a nose dive down 12 stairs matching bruise we dont like to out do each other
quads me again crashed in the the quad in front of me spun the quad right round... no more behind the wheel for me
hubby after days of trying to hire car got him in office but small problem all cars where in the next town he spent the next 6 hours helping getting all his cars back but did get a week for the price of 2 days
after ten days trying to balance my self on a lilo at the pool a round of appluse went round the pool was on it for about a min when i said i dont like this , i came out but my bikini bottoms had moved to one side got back to sun lounger to the words of huby saying your fa**ny hanging out Opps ....a change of hotel required

that made me laugh so much

We had a list of things that happened to us this time:

1 Got locked in room, faulty handle on door, had to be rescued
2 Got stuck in lift, again had to be rescued
3 My sister got attacked by a puppy and her trousers got torn
4 Broke the key in the lock of the safety box
5 The fridge in our room broke down - water everywhere
6 Bought two left shoes
7 Attacked by a cricket while sitting at the bar one night

I think thats about it, have been going to Icmeler for 8 years and never had anything happen so guess its all happened at the one time.

One of the funniest things that happend when i was on holiday didnt actually happen to me but my friend.. We were in Pleasure having a good boogie like you do. I was on the podium infront of the Dj box and my friend was opposite daning on the bar. Well one minute she was dancing the next thing she was doing a backwards rolly polly off the bar into the all the bar staff. Once i seen her pop up from behind the bar I was in stitches of laughter. Not sure if I find this funny but my family do. Two years ago in Icmeler we went on a jeep safari two days into our holiday. Me, hubby and teenage kids bought these great big water guns before going on the safari. We were going to the waterfall and the driver stopped the jeep. He said for us to put the water guns down and hold on as we were going to speed through a stream. Well hubby put his gun down on the seat between us and off we went. Speeding along the road we went and then suddenly the driver pulled off the road and we headed for a small stream. As soon as we hit the water the jeep basically came to a sudden stop and we all went flying up into the air, only to come down very hard. Yes you've guessed it, hubby's blooming big watergun had slid under my bottom as I crashed down. Boy was my bottom sore. We carried on with the day and without anymore mishap, but my bum was aching by the time we headed back. For the rest of the holiday I found it difficult to sit down and just though I'd bruised my bum, everyone was laughing. When I got home I was in agony and had to go to the doctors, it turns out I broke my tailbone. My hubby got the blame - him and his watergun! I still have problems now and cannot sit on a hard surface or even sit for long periods. We enjoyed the jeep safari, but sadly I won't be able to go on one again.

Dotty - That's a lot to happen on one holiday. Poor you jejo, jeep safaris are something i've not tried yet. A few years ago we were staying at apts which had a house right next to it. One morning I went down to the pool and had just put mine and hubby's towels on our beds when I turned round and my purse had dissappeared from the table and when I looked over the little wall there was this doberman with my purse in it's mouth. So I waited till it went inside and I climbed over and got it. It then came outside and started barking so I hurried over the wall and slipped and skinned my knee. My husband then arrived and when I told him a dog stole my purse he said are you sure you've not had a raki?

i have a few funny stories off my trips to icmeler/marmaris.
something always tends to happen.

1.my step dad slipped when getting out the pool luckily no one seen it happen but then the DJ mentions it over the mic.. me & my mum sat laughing for ages.

2.step dad yet again went to get on his sun bed little did we know that the back rest wasnt attached correctly and the bed was in two pieces with him left sprawlled on the floor.

3.sat round the pool one day, i just got out the pool n was sat on a little stool all was well till the stool went one way and i went the other, & was left lay on the floor crying with laughter along with half the people by the pool... then 2 days later my brother doing the exact same.
