I have not seen any public toilets in Icmeler. Just use the bars as you pass, even if you buy a bottle of water

Last year we drove to Konya from Icmeler - all squat toilets :(

You had to pay to use both of these loo's but they are clean and often have an attendant to collect the money and keep it clean

Re:- The toilet at the end of the beachwalk past the Munamar[Joy] hotel
I think they charge a lira to use and also charge for a shower.
If you go another 50yds or so around the bend towards the Golmar hotel you will find 3 good beach bars, "Liberty,Harmony, And Deniz Kapisi
If you use their beaches the beds and umbrelas are free, and they will serve you drinks and food on the beach, or inside in the shade.
But the main thing is they all have free,"clean" toilets and the Kapisi has a free shower on the beach.
I am rather surprised that a lot of people dont realise what is around the corner, mainly its becouse the lads on the wide beach do everything going to stop you progressing further.
Just keep walking around the bend !!

Ah right thanks!
And for the actual proper toilets how about toilet paper? Do many have a proper plumbing system were you can flush toilet paper?
As appose to using a bin

Definately Bins, unless you want a flood next time you are there.

We have never had a problem finding a loo in Icmeler, even when walking back to the hotel in the small hours you will pass somewhere open, and if you ask politely they will let you use their loo, this has happened to us on many occation and we have never been refused. Turkish hospitality rules.

P.S. Always always the bins.
