Hello Debbie,

I went to Icmeler last may around the 13th and the weather was really nice during the day but it did tend to get a little chilly in the evenings so a little cardy was needed.

xx

thank u

Hi Debbie

May is a lovely time to go to Icmeler, nowhere near as busy as it is in July/August much more laid back and relaxed, and there's much more room on the beach.

I went out on 12th May last year and as Scousebabe says the days were lovely and hot but the nights were a bit chilly as the wind seemed to get up so i would take a cardigan with you just in case (or you can buy one out there if needs be.....)

We had one day of cloud which was the day we were on the Surf and Turf boat trip - spent most of the afternoon wearing the captain's big red fleece  looked really cool with shorts and flipflops I can tell you!

The sea's not very warm in May though, I usually stick to the pool as goose bumps just don't suit me!

For the last few years I've had a week there in May and a fortnight in August , but have to say I think I prefer Icmeler in May.

Hi Debbie
The webcam is usually pointing down the main road - that is from the Chill Bar looking towards the Devamli Hotel (top of canal).
From what I can gather the webcam will be set back to this view pretty soon... Would be nice to have a few more webcams set up don't you think?

Hi again Debbie

Yes you can see loads more going on from that place

I used to be able to watch at work but my company have recently been blocking us from looking at certain web pages and unfortunately the ICR webcam falls into that category  so I'm limited to watching by night (unless it's the weekend of course!)

Oh well only 7 weeks and I shall be there again seeing it in the flesh 8) 8)

Hi again Debbie

Lee who worked at the Venice til July last year (bandana chicken legged dancer) is hoping to set up a web cam this year on his new hotel "Heat and Breeze"

If you want to risk me giving directions lol, it's on the same road as the Baron going towards Champagne Bar, Deniz Kapsi and Harmony!!!

Don't think he has yet cos he's still busy refurbing the hotel for the start of the season. If you check out iloveicmeler .com he posts on there a lot and there's a link to his site. or you could try looking for Heat and Breeze Icmeler in Google for it.

Feel free to PM me if you don't have any joy and I'll send you a link.

Ello

Like a few others,i have always gone to Icmeler in May for past 8yrs i'd say.
The weather is lovely, last May there was a slight breeze, but this was needed ,was nice just relaxing in the sun.
I agree,it does get slightly chilly of a night, but i've never took a cardy or anything, maybe its the alcohol keeping me warm!! :o :o

Anyway back May 19th cant wait!!!

Luv bec xx

WE WENT TO ICMELER LAST MAY FOR A FORTNIGHT THE WEATHER WAS HOT ENOUGH FOR MOST IN THE DAY, BUT AS OTHERS HAVE COMMENTED A CARDIGAN IS NEEDED AT NIGHT OR PLENTY OF ALCHOL. WE LIKED IT SO MUCH THAT WE HAVE BOOKEED TO GO BACK FOR THREE WEEKS IN SUMMER HOLLIDAYS.

I thought of hibernating for the next 39 days neanie as thats when we go.
The weather last year in May for us was one week lovely sunshine but the second week was showers every day,my son came over for the second week and wasnt impressed so he is going back to Ibiza this year.
Cardigan definately of an evening.

12 days to go. We are visiting Ovacik for a change for a week and then off to Icmeler for two weeks in July.
