Postby swc24 » 14 Aug 2008 22:03

Hi All

we have booked through ICR to stay at the above apartments we normally stay in the centre so not to sure where these aprtments are in the old village.
Has anyone stayed there if so what bars and resturants are near by and also the wife wants to know do they have hair dryers in the rooms

Thanks

We stayed there last year and are staying again in September. They don't have hairdryers in apartments. Its only a 10 minute stroll to centre but there are lots of restaurants nearby,Ozzies,Mr Chef,Captain Sinbad,Dost, and lots more.

Stayed here twice, spacious apartments with nice views from the double balcony.
Dimrie - Dost is derelict now, weeds growing etc. (If it's the same one, just up from Ozzie's?

Plenty of restaurants nearby ,the Lovestar is particularly good .

THese apartments are fuine, see my review elsewherfe. They are nice and clean etc Only 7-10 mins walk from the centre and v quiet.
I would watch how much you get charged for air con etc as they tried to charge us extra, but apart from that they are great. Loads of loungers, nice big pool etc

walked up to these apartments to have a look around, they looked very clean and tidy
wouldnt say the bars are that nearby,in the heat of the day,it was pretty exhausting, although we did have a buggy/baby with us.
the kerbs are really high up that end of icemelor, and for that reason i wouldnt stay that side of the town if i had the baby with us,as walking on the road would be quite treacherous at night possibly

Just come back from the sister apartments to the Rhodes they are only a short walk from the main town. The Dost restraunt is no longer open.

If you want a plain and simple meal thats cheap go to harry rams in there youll get a t-bone steak for 17ytl. this is about the cheapest in icmeler.

If you have any other questions dont hesitate to contact me

happy holidays
