Yes we will be there. We are flying out tomorrow from Newcastle and would like to meet and have a natter. There a a good few of us in our party, so the crack should be good.

Did I get the wrong date? I was in Havannah bar on sat 16th with OH and ZaZa was there but no forum people. He did say that a family had been in earlier also looking for forum people but no-one was there then either. It was worth going just to meet ZaZa though, what a character!

It was probably us, but we were the only folk in the bar who had anything to do with icmeleronline. we had turned up early and left after a couple of drinks to get some food at the Prince. Sorry we missed you, but we did make ourselves known to zaza. He also said it had happened before that folk were supposed to meet and he had put up balloons and banners and laid on food, and noboby showed!!

just to let you know we did turn up on the saturday, but we were later than we said due to having no water in the apartments. we were in zaza's quite a few nights looking out for you, the only people we got to meet was the famous gene & ann, and gemini. we did ask zaza if you had been in & he said yes, so sorry we missed you.
if you go next year, hopefully we will have better luck as we are all booked for next year.

Sorry we missed you. We were with carl and his family, and carl introduced me to Gene and his wife later that night. I suppose when you think about it, a good few of us could have been sitting close to other members and just did not realise it. Most of the bars and resturants we went to were fairly busy.
I think we need some form of identification that will be known only to fellow members!!

I think you're right Keith.
After all there are 74 families in Icmeler in Sept when we go, so I am sure many of us sit in the same bars and just don't recognise each other.
Its sad because over the years we chat away like old friends

Dont take this wrong way !!,
it might be my wierd sense of humour,
But your remark about a form of I.D brings to mind, oddlooking people, say with!!,
one sock on, a gladdioli stuffed down their shorts, and carrying a goldfish in a plastic bag, with a silly grin on their face, or something simular!! , wandering around aimlessly.
Seriusly though you do have a good point .

Well fellow Icmelerites it is 6 hours since my remarks on the ""Were did you all hide" thread.
The simple solution is a pin badge then we can all recognise fellow forum members.
The big question is who can organise the production & then we can all buy them in the ICR office.
Sorry to bore you but all this was said 13 months ago.

Denis you are correct and funilly enough it was this same time last year aling with the topic about the boat trip and meet up and is one of the reasons why there is now no discussion about the October boat trip and is all now done through Colette by pm

Point taken John I think I know what you mean, lots of endeavor & hard work then no one takes it up .
I just feel sorry for the members who are desperate to meet other members who visit Heaven on Earth
Just a silly suggestion, "all members should wear the discarded by the thousand GPO red rubber bands about their person"

good idea post office rubber bands no cost easy to get & ok to use i will have mine on next year .so please look out for me

Hi Pete , I don't mind wearing a red liverpool rubber band but as i am from Leeds you know I would never wear a Man U red rubber band
One of my sons works for GPO I will get a bag of various sizes & drop them off at the ICR office later this month
