Hi LynnJenny.......we also went on an Efes pratice run last night. Not quite the same as being there but better than nothing....only trouble is we had an Indian meal rather than a Turkish meal, we just pretended that we were at the Taj Mahal in
Icmeler and enjoyed it anyway.

We too were sitting out on the patio, under a parasol some of the time, as it was sooooooooo hot. Sat there talking about Turkey and what we could be doing there, and sipping a beer or two. Still sitting at my 'puter now with all the doors and windows open, making the most of it, cos tomorrow I will be back in the office.

Me and the kids had breakfast outside (poor hubby at work earning the
Icmeler spend) even the little ones said it was like being on a balcony in Turkey

They were more than happy with the paddling pool

We dont ask for a lot - do we? If only we could have a little more of this beautiful weather. Everybody seems to be in better spirits and its great for the kids to be out and about instead of being cooped up.

But Jozzy, you dont realise how hard it was to get in my car tonight at 5:30pm with the sun shining and Phill sitting enjoying a cold can of lager in the back garden.
But the good point is I have 4 days off after tonight, so I can do that this week when he goes to work.

You are not going mad as I was one of the people who mentioned The Selam on the topic best place to have a meal.
It is well worth a visit,Lovely food and great service.Very friendly family run restaurant.
We will be going back to it in September.
