Other resorts in Turkey

hey, could anyone tell me if they have been to any other resorts in turkey and how they compared to icmeler?
Also if they are lively or have a good atmosphere, like icmeler has?

Hi Sophia,
I have visited Turgutries and Side and have spent two weeks in each resort.
I have also visited several other Turkish holiday resorts on day trips and I know that you dont get a true reflection of a place on a day trip but you can get the FEEL of an area.
So in my opinion there is only one place that has all that I and my family want from an holiday and that is Icmeler.
Each one of the places we Have visited has something special to offer its tourist be it ice cold rivers,mud baths,canyon walks,waterfalls, beaches,historical ruins,mountain backdrops and forested areas we still choose to come back to our adopted home because in the area of Icmeler and surounding areas we have all these things.

my opinion only we all have our own ideas

We have only been to gumbet [1st time in turkey] which was a wonderfull holiday, 2nd time was marmaris, again a great holiday, then we found icmeler and this year will be our 18th and 19th visit, enough said.

Looks like icmeler wins every time then. Didnt think it would be possible to find somewhere as great as icmeler!
ooh im so jealous, i have to wait till next summer to go to icmeler!

Are there any other resorts??????? Well the only one of any importance is Icmeler.

Ive visited Kusadasi and Side and done the usual day trips as previously mentioned. Icmeler - i think im hitting around the 25th holiday in May, and i will also be there June, September and October... so safe to say its my favourite resort too Not that its a resort as such, but i do love Istanbul too though.

Have been to Gumbet once, Bodrum once, Kusadasi once and Icmeler about 20 times, definately the best resort in the whole of Turkey by far (my personal opinion only of course haha)
