We feel the same way. As soon as our plane lands at Dalaman airport (and we have collected our cases!!) we feel we have almost reached our "little piece of heaven". No more checking watches, setting alarm clocks, driving through traffic to work etc. etc. Only have to wonder what time to start sunbathing, drinking Efes, eating etc. etc.

I love icmeler too!

We agree, we love Icmeler too - already booked again for May for our wedding anniversary and then again early September for my 40th!!! Cant think of anything better than waking up on my birthday ... in Icmeler - heaven! Some of my friends ask why we dont try other places - why try other places when you've found the holiday you love???? :D

We love Icmeler!!!!

we are going in sept to celebrate my husbands 60th, we'd rather be there more than anywhere else in the world. does anyone know any good venues for a 60th.
when i've been on this forum for a while you'll notice i jump from one subject to another and one thing that i did yesterday was when i was at the dentist having a filling i shut my eyes and thought i was lying on the beach in icmeler and i didn't feel a thing! good relaxation therapy.
well i'd better sign off else i'll never be ready for my night on the town.
see ya!

Venice will be nice for a change for you Colette
Be carefull of those juggling bottles, dont want you getting in any trouble.

Skilly head for the bars with plenty of music and dancing, thats unless you two want to be holding hands and gazing into his eyes on his sixtyieth
and if thats the case I would recomend "The LoveBoat"

Hi this is my first time on the site, I would just like to say how we enjoyed Icmeler last year this was our first time abroad and we are now totally hooked on the place. The people are so friendly and all the waiters are really good with the kids we have two and they just loved all the waiters. The waiters really do like a laugh, we stayed at the Devamli last year and by the end of the first week one of the waiters kept threatening to chuck my husband in the pool, but guess what we got him in first!!! :P

We are going back on the 6th August this year for two weeks if anyone is going the same time let me know and we will have to meet for a drink.

Thanks for your reply. I am new to all this I have not done it before. When do you go out to Icmeler?

Does anyone go to the Devamli Hotel? If so has anyone been this year yet and are all the old waiters there again or are there new ones this year? I look forward to someone replying!!! :)
