Hassle Police - are they just in Icmeler......

......or are they in other Turkish resorts too ??

Mom and Dad came with us in June (their first time in Turkey) and they absolutely loved Icmeler, and we've booked up to go back with them again next June, Hubby and I are booked up to go back with Mother inlaw in October.

Mom and Dad fancy trying another Turish resort closer to an airport (they don't fancy the long transfer as they can only do a week or 10 days) perhaps somewhere closer to Ephesus and Pamukale but they're a little concerned that there won't be hassle police in other resorts and the hassle would really annoy them.

They'd be going in September when the kids are back at School - therefore not the hight of the season (also not over run by 18-30's) so not too fussed where they go as long as they're closer to the airport than Icmeler is.

Last year (september) they went to Laganas (18-30's resport) in Zante and enjoyed it but found it a bit repetative as there wasn't much to do there like there is in Icmeler and it wasn't over run by drunken 18-30's at that time of the season.

Can any of you seasoned Turkish travelers recommend any other resorts with much shorter transfers that they could give a try in September that have hassle police ?

Dalyan is nearer to the airport though not sure about hassle police !!

we were put up there overnight following a delay on the return flight and it seemed nice enough from what little we saw
friends have stayed there in the past and rave about its "turkishness"
maybe worth your parents looking into if they fancy something quieter than icmeler??

The transfer to Icmeler is only 1.5 hours tops but if you want somewhere nice and quiet and nearer then try Akyaka/Gokova.

Whichever resort you choose why not give us a call and let us book you in to your chosen accommodation

if you or your parents want any info about dalyan pm me. there is no hassle in dalyan at all, it is a much quieter resort, there is no loud music blaring from bars either, it is only 30 mins from the airport and it is stunning. we get a private transfer in a taxi from the airport, which is approx £20 and are usually having a drink on the balcony within 30 mins
