hi Karen we were there in June and Ken is still rocking

, he is still doing his thing at Friends Bar and Christines. If you see him this year ask him to play The Cascades "Rhythm of the Falling Rain " and tell him Elaine and Peter send our best.

This guy realy knows his stuff too we sat one night thinking of the most obscure records we could think of and did he have them you bet he did and if you were lucky enough to get one he did not have the next time you went in he would have it. And like Gene says just a chap with C Ds but he packs them in, we walked past the usual pubs with the dancing waiters etc etc and yes there were a few people sitting but Ken's was packed, in fact we had a job getting a table at 10-30. And it's not just the old un's that like him there was a mix of all ages.

We stayed at the Green Mar apartments which Friends Bar is part of. Ken was there probably every other 2/3 nights. He was very popular & had some very good reviews in the guest book. It was so funny seeing him ride off on his pushbike after the music stopped at midnight

Alan go to the Tansas across the road is a restaurant called The Red Lion walk down the street which the red lion is on the corner of, the Travellers Restuarant is just below the red lion on the same side.
Hope this makes sense.

We had a gret evening with Rocking Ken last Thursday at the Travellers Rest, he is there every Thursday. He is a great guy and very funny, he knows hes had a few mentions on here and quite proud of it i think!! The food at the Travellers Rest is fantastic, we went 3 times in the second week, the fish and chips is to die for! Just to add the Travellers Rest is right behind the Red Lion on the way to the Tansas.

Hey I worked at friends bar opposite Diva
hotel last year with Rockin Ken!
He's a legend! It's dead busy everynight and makes a nice change from dancing waiters.
