Hi we stayed at the Diva last August, it was nice but i thought the rooms were tiny   breakfast was nice too. Lovely and clean and good location, it was small but then again dont tend to spend too much time in there anyway!!!

Came home 2 weeks ago, stayed at the Villamar, excellent value for money, set in a quiet square just down from the florida restaurant and round the corner from the Geordie bar and lemon Tree/Alvaro, balconies look out over little side streets with private houses and aparts with those lovely bright pink flowered trees, very peaceful, had no night or early morning noise. Rooms are bigger than the Diva (stayed there twice) lots of wardrobe space, walk in shower with sliding doors so the floor diosent get et all the time, I hate that! rooms cleaned thoroughly everyday and clean towels left in lovely patterns on the beds (whether you used the old ones or not), lovely little cleaner working all day long doing every nut and cranny! Basic turkish brekkie from 8 till 10, but adequate, small pool but enough for a nice swim and sunbathe, great little homely bar, the lad that runs the bar used to work at the florida, he is called Ahmet, he's a lovely person and speaks perfect english and is very helpful, its like a little home from home, owners are quiet and friendly but never bother you, sorry Im rambling now! Hope this heps you and wichever you chose have fun! Eve x

hi, thank you all so much for replying. At the moment it looks like we're stuck with the Alara thanks to Medhotels and their almightly cock up so if anyone has been there this season or has info, i.e. where in Icmeler it is I would greatly appreciate it. Travelling out on 14th July for 10 nights with husband on short fuse, 2 teenage sons and 2 of their friends....heaven help me!!!!
