My Friend Is Planning On Going To Turunc Next Year, But Wants To Visit Me While I Am In Icmeler, So I Was Wondering Would This Be Easy For Her To Do Via Taxi Or Taxi Boat, And Would This Be Expensive

Taxi boats run about every hour 15 YTL return, think last boat about 4.30 or 5 pm, taxis are quite expensive but dolmus is about 4YTL each way and passes Icmeler market.again about every hour (I think).

Spot on mags, we just got back from turunc this morning. Both trips take about half hour.
Taxi is £20 pound to Icmeler.
We went over and stayed for three nights to go to icmeler forum bash which is another option. But like mags says 15 ytl return but 10ytl one way

It's even dearer when you forget which boat you came on and you pay 15 each to go and 10 each to come back. Won't do that again.

Marg if you came from Icmeler and are returning to Icmeler as long as you show your ticket you can come back on any boat, so should not have to pay.

Hi Gene , Went to four different boats and they would not except our tickets and said your boat in down there... As it was out first time on taxi boat to Turunc we thought you had to go back on the same boat you came on. Probably get the bus next week, maybe market day for a change.
May be they didn't like the looks of us

the boats are run by the corporation so you can get on any boat, we tried to find our boat when we went a few weeks ago and the captain of the boat explained that if you have a ticket you can go on any

Ah well, you live and learn. 50 lira for a trip to Turunc
