we flew back with Onur Air and noticed that they did not spray the cabin when they shut the doors, when i got home I had loads of bites not on the places which i sprayed they must have crawled up my jeans and bitten the part not protected by mosquito repellent. Whilst I was in
Icmeler i only got one bite as I was well covered in Lemon Grass

I had noticed that they stopped spraying the planes a few years ago on the outward journey you know now where all the mozzi's have come from here.

I had bites too after a Thomas Cook flight home.... odd! I don't think mine were mozzie bites, more like fly bites around the ankles. Hope it wasn't fleas

(totally unimpressed with Thomas Cook!)
So yes, spray yourself well on the journey to
Dalaman that's what I suggest!

we did see the mozzie man a couple of times, we came face to face with him one night it looked like he had a big machine gun on the back of us van, i only was bitten once in may but as soon as i got home and had a shower i found i was covered in bites, they must of been hiding in my clothes

Been to
Icmeler 3 times now and luckily never been bitten by mozzies. We,ve seen the mozzie man acouple of times times and put our lack of bites down to the spraying of the resort,(or that we don't taste that good). I wonder if they are spraying as often this year? Any way if a mozzie did try to take a chunk out of me all he'd end up with is a mouthfull of efes.

yeah there were a few people I spotted on the beach that had lots of bites!
There was even some poor young guy who's back was covered in them!
I've been 5 times now and never been bitten once! Long may it continue!

I got bitten on my left ankle on arrival at Dalaman, it tended to be quite swollen for most of the fortnight.
I had several bites in the first five days or so, then nothing. Maybe they just smell the newbies arriving
