Does anyone think the rate will be better than 2.35 in icmeler. As that is the current rate at the Post Office, have heard most people saying hey were only getting 2.30 over there. Obviously I know it goes up and down every day.
Got to go to town tomorrow and thinking might get it tomorrow if gonna get a worse rate in icmeler.

Hi Steve,
We returned on the 31st of May after a scorching week. The rate was 242, by the end of the week it was down to 235. We used the supermarket next to the Chill Bar.
Wish we were going back tomorrow!

We also used the supermarket next to the chill bar, the gentleman in there was very friendly and gave us the best rates going.

Hi Steve
We used the window by the 'Gold Shop' (as on web cam) and if you changed more than £100 sterling they were giving a better price. It was 2.30 when we came home last monday but 2.35 if more than £100.

Well the money market rate (not the same as tourist rate I know) is around 2.46 NTL to the pound, the graph shows the rate getting better
http://newsvote.bbc.co.uk/1/shared/fds/ ... efault.stm
The resistance level appears to around about the 2.46 level (top) and 2.38 bottom

A lot of places will advise the rate you will actually get if your not sure just change a tenner that way you will not lose a load of money, friends of ours saw an exchange rate far above the norm I think the rate was 2.7 and it was advertised at 3.5 and changed £100 pound and only got 170 lira there was a clause they didn't see about changing £1000 or so.

Hi Debbie
Don't know wether it is coincidental or not but we have always noticed that the exchange rate goes down towards the weekend and rises again the beginning of the week.
